Graves Golf Academy Testimonials
Todd,
I was at the November '08 3-day school in Orlando - you may remember that I flew in from Switzerland and my clubs were stolen. I've bought all new clubs and a new bag and I've been working as much as possible on what you and the other teachers have taught me. It has been a brutal winter here, so it's been a challenge and an adventure just to get out on the course or the driving range. But now that spring has arrived, I will have many more opportunities to play and practice.
I just wanted to thank you and the Grave's staff for such amazing instruction. As a teacher myself, I can say with confidence that you guys are the best teachers on the planet! I'm so impressed.
I can't say that my scores have really improved - but I have a new system where I only count pars and birdies. I'm up to four pars in nine holes and will go for five my next time out. I mark an "X" for all non-pars/birdies. This helps me attack the holes more aggressively and keeps my mind focused on positions, accurate club selection, up&downs and not leaving putts short of the hole. I'm learning how to play "target golf". I'll keep you posted.
But I can say that all the money I've spent and all the work I've put into learning this swing has paid off in one perfect 275 yard drive on a par 4 - straight down the middle. Best of my life! And that long walk down the fairway was amazing. It truly is "nice and balmy" in the middle of the fairway!
Thanks again.

Todd,
I got home monday hit balls mon tues and wed and got 9 in on thursday in gusty 20 mph wind which i normally dont like shot 39 one 3 put----one wedge at 75 yrds hit perfect but went long straight over the flag--and one wedge at 100yrds straight into a 2 club wind but chose the wrong club hit it good just 10 yrds short missed the 10 foot putt
the only bad shot i hit was a 7 wood hit behind it but it still rolled straight and 10 yrds short of the green at 185 yrds
all the drives were good an solid which was the one i was worried about since i hadnt hit any--all the practice had been in the back yard with wedges at 30 to 100 yrds--my main focus on all was holding the trail shoulder and just swinging my arms thru like you emphasized.
Needless to say i was tickled to death to see how quickly i got that feeling and how solidly the ball was struck and bored thru the wind---im sure plenty of work yet to hold the wrist even better etc but just wanted to say again how much i enjoyed the time with you and the way the instruction was conducted--sunday made a huge difference to me getting it better and the ability to bring it home and know what i needed to do--as you may recall ive been working on "the feeling of greatness" swing for 8 years but the time with your personal instruction will make a huge difference. there will be many more 70 somethings this summer than ever im sure.
My sincere thanks again.

Hi Scott,
I wanted to thank you, Todd, Tim, Ken, and Jared for a fabulous time in Orlando. I really appreciate the thoroughness of the school and how professionally you approached everything. Please extend my thanks to everyone.
If you guys ever need a reference for the school, please feel free to have people contact me. I look forward to taking an alumni course next year.
All best,
Eric
Hi Tim,
I wanted to say "thank you" to you, Todd and all the staff at GGA. It truly was a pleasure meeting all of you. I took away more valuable and relevant information from the 3 days than I have from the past 12 years of varied instruction and playing golf. You all have given me a way to practice all aspects of the game with a purpose with the potential to play the best golf of my life. I am a 100% believer of the single plane swing of Moe Norman that the GGA teaches and, I am committed to practicing the drills I have learned.
P.S. I really enjoyed your hantavirus story.
Take good care,
Paul

I want to applaud you and Tim and all of your associates on the wonderful window you have created for all of us golfers who aspire to get better. You have taken a single, simple concept and built it into not only a great business opportunity for yourselves but an opportunity to do something you love every day – not many people get a chance to do that. On top of that, you have created a fantastic roadmap to learn a golf swing that is simple, easy to understand and learn. Not only that, you have created tools (Feeling of Greatness club, Alignment Tool, etc) that help burn the concept into your physical swing and mental thoughts.
I have been systematically watching the Troubles and Faults video, using the pipe drill and I recently bought the Feeling of Greatness club and your new Alignment tool (which is a great help) and each day I am getting a better feel and understanding of what the swing should feel like. All of this is translating to more and more consistent and solid golf shots, fewer misses and bad shots and better scores. What feels really good is that my driver is more consistent and that has been my trouble club all my life. One thing that really contributed to my improvement. That was when you introduced your “Feeling of Greatness” grips. There was a online video I think on that and it really helped me visualize the hand positions on the grip. I immediately corrected my hand position and got instant improvement from that.
I want so badly to attend one of your schools and have not been able to yet. I hope to in 2009. I would love to get your first hand direction and really top off my game. I know I can shoot in the 70’s regularly. I did it once and I am getting close to being able to do that all the time and I know your guys could get me there.
You have helped me find a new focus and passion for golf because I get what you are saying and it is easy to understand, visualize and implement and the swing feels so simple and natural and when you actually hit the ball and it has that “sweet spot” feel and you see the ball flight and know you just nailed it – it feels so great. Thank you – you have changed my golf fortunes forever.
Thanks for having created this wonderful approach to the game I love so dearly.
Yours truly
Rick
Hi, Todd Graves,
For your info. I have the subject book First Edition ,March 1998.- (Golf Digest Productions).
Your instructions in subject book helped me with my back problems. At that time I switched from right hand to left hand swing.
At that time I took some instructions from one of your schools in Tampa Florida near my winter home.
I am still playing golf the Natural Program Way. I am 85 yrs. young and live on a private golf course location.
Thanks for the help you have given me and many others on the Natural Golf Prorgram.
Kind Regards,
Don

Tim and Todd,
I just wanted to follow up from the golf camp last week and to give you some feed back .
First – the camp was excellent ! You had a great ratio of 10 students and 6 ½ staff always there . There was a good mixture of skill level ,age, and sex .There was always an instructor helping us ,they rotated ,and gave us space when we needed.
Second – The use of DVD , taping over a number of days …with different instructors on both audio and video is a great tool .Last night I started working on my swing with the DVD and things I could not get – I did get now –viewing from outside looking in . Specifically I GET what you meant by on the back swing …by elbow in…wrist hinge up ………..now by seeing it again ! This gives us visually something to continue the learning process with .
Third – the location , service ,meals of Eagle Creek worked out well and is a great facility . I felt Eagle Creek was glad to have us there and that the Graves Group had the respect of their staff.
Fourth- the dinner Thursday night is a great way to get everyone together and have some closure .
Fifth – the camp itself ,I felt was broken into different sections / compartments so we did not get board ….but kept coming back each area ,so we could continue the learning process. Such as short game and putting one day ,coming back to it another . Short game on putting green ,then short game on the course . On course instruction I felt was very helpful ,especially the day you took us back to a tee box ….and how to play the hole .
I look forward to the Alumni camp in the future and /or coming out to OK. Scott was of great help in getting me set up for the camp and with my grips .
Tell Brent ….I believe I got it !!!...regarding hinge up .
I did not start golf till age 42 ….I do appreciate the help that you both have given to me ….to help me accomplish my goals and attain my dreams !
That means a lot to me .Having a specific niche ,in a specific field as yours , sets you apart from the rest of the golf industry .
You are on the right track from a business model and from a point of how you can help people better their lives . Moe’s swing sets you apart by a mile .
My best and have a great fall ,
Dave
Thanks a ton Todd.
It’s amazing what you see on the same damn video that I look at and can’t figure out the problems! I’m working with the pvc and the mirror to do the things you suggest. I’m confident I’ll get there, however long it takes. BTW, your new youtube video on Moe is really cool. Whoever put that together for you did a really great job; the videography & music were both really well done.
I’ll send another video soon.
Chuck
